Quick report
50+ mph winds from the west were loading snow rapidly onto the top of the couloir and visibility was poor. Snow was touchy and upside down.
Avalanche
Partner ski cut the entrance of mile long and flushed the whole couloir. Skier got caught in the wind slab and carried about 10 feet before self arresting. Crown was only ~3” but ran at least 100’ across.
