I was impressed by the copious new snow (~3' at 7500 feet). I stayed off and well out from under slopes steeper than 30° and found great deep powder conditions, especially in sheltered mid-elevation terrain. Winds from the NW were drifting tons of fresh snow in the exposed terrain below the lake, and views of the high country were obscured by low clouds, snowfall, and blowing snow.
I didn't see any avalanches or people, but then I didn't see much of anything due to blowing snow, flat light, and very poor visibility.
