Quick report

I spotted this big glide crack yesterday on an East facing slope around 4800 feet near Peterboro. It is probably around 160 feet wide and several feet deep (full snowpack at this elevation). I was surprised since it hasn't been too warm yet but I expect to see much more of this type of avalanche when it begins raining later this week.

On another note. We have found outstanding riding conditions on north facing slopes on the east bench this week. The high angle sun is affect southerly facing slopes but north slopes are holding well for the time being.
