I think I encountered every type of weather and snow on today's tour. Snow mixed with graupel was coming down from early this morning til 8:30am. The sky then quickly changed to mostly sunny with scattered clouds. Temperature were in the high 20s/low 30s. Winds were calm until around 10am and were continuously ramping up until I finished at noon. Clouds began to move in around 11:30 and skies were mostly cloudy by 12:30.

- <p>Ridgelines and exposed areas have been effected by winds over the past week. While in most places it seems that this snow has been blown to lower elevations or sheltered terrain, there are a few sensitive windslabs in more extreme, upper elevation terrain. I skied Wilson Chutes and as I moved across the top, a windslab began to break at my skis. I was able to stop about 5 feet in; the windslab looked to be about 20ft wide and 8in deep. </p> <p>Rollerballs were coming down in force starting at around 10am. I could see on other faces that wet snow slides had released both naturally and skier triggered. These slides were no bigger than D1 in size but would create big problems in more extreme terrain. </p>
