Quick report
Went to look at a sled triggered avalanche previously reported HERE. Overall a deep strong snowpack that I observed on Jan 22. The main issue was the new snow which was upside down. Winds on Jan 22 loaded small features like this one. While not a big avalanche, the main issue here is that many of the lower slopes where sledders ride are terrain traps. Any bigger slide could easily result in a burial. Riding sleds in upper dry fork is fun but a serious endeavor.
This slide broke on decomposing stellars (aka snowflakes) that were low density and capped by higher density new snow and wind-blown snow.
Overall a strong snowpack. What is AMAZING is that the snowpack on south aspects only has 4 crusts in it. It doesn't feel or look like the snowpack on a south facing slope.

New snow inverted (aka upside down). It skied ok but was denser on top and lighter underneath.
