Quick report

A couple of crusts with faceted snow sandwiched in between. Nothing overly remarkable except that the snow is shallow in this zone. Facets are developing in many areas of the snowpack but there is no real slab on top. The area is low elevation so it feels like we are still building a base here.

My trusty partner mostly stayed on top but the variability in the thickness of the supportable crust sent him to his shoulders more than once.

Snowpack

Snow surface was combination of surface hoar, graupel and NSF's. Felt like old snow.
