Observation: Beaver Mountain

Headed to Beaver this morning to get some powder skiing and dig in the snow. The surface hoar that had grown since our 11/10 storm has now been buried and I found it to be very reactive in the tests I conducted. The bottom 3ish centimeters of the snowpack is loose and sugary but it was not reactive in the tests. While skinning up, I noticed evidence of wind transport although it was mostly calm by the time we were up there (7am).
