- Recent Avalanches, Rapid Warming
We noticed fresh natural wet loose avalanches on Mt. Magog, Mt. Gog, and on several other steep east or southeast facing slopes in the Tony Grove Area. These are not a surprise, expected rather... Riders and skiers appeared to be finding nice snow and good stability in steep upper elevation terrain.

-
Increasing danger due to solar and seasonal daytime warming.

I did not see any issues with wind drifted snow yesterday. Found good stability even in drifted terrain, but I still avoided super steep slopes.

Snow was still pretty nice up high, but a bit dense. Rime on NW (windward) facing slopes at upper elevations. Became saturated in sunny terrain, with roller ball swarms and natural wet sluffs on east and south facing slopes by midday.
