I could see evidence of fairly widespread natural avalanche activity from during the storm (Friday night/Saturday), with blown-in avalanche crowns and debris visible on most steep upper elevation north and northeast facing slopes in the area.
The shallow snow is unstable on slopes that didn't naturally avalanche in shady upper elevation terrain where sugary faceted snow was capped by heavy snow from the Thanksgiving storm.
