Burstall pass

Skiing at Burstall is in. Approach had average 20-30cm of snow, enough to cover most obstacles. Probed 60-90cm of relatively homogeneous snow at the pass, with the average around 75cm in areas not windswept. Some areas had a crust right near the base. A thin layer of windslab (<10cm) could be triggered on select convexities. Sharks were not out for lunch.
