Narao trees NW slope

Main objective was Narao trees but we traversed about 700m over to the NW slope above treeline to check out conditions. At 1pm it was 0C, with strong winds from the SW, visibility depends on how much snow was blowing. Snow was wind-crusted and ride quality was ok at best. Plus lots of bare rocky patches. We then retreated back to the regular glades area. Saw two other parties (3 + 2 people) today and lots of powder to share among us.
