Cobra Couloir

We saw a large avalanche on the east face area of Mt Lefroy

We saw a large avalanche at 9am from what appeared to be somewhere between Glacier Peak and Lefroy on East facing slopes. It was cloudy and hard to see but very loud and large.

We headed down around 10:30, by 11am the wind picked up considerably

There were several cms over a crust or very icy wind affected snow
