Quick Observation

We enjoyed some nice spring riding today we had a little mix of all snow conditions from slush in the valley bottom to nice powder to had and wind affected. The day was windy and snow was being transported all day the temps stayed around -1 in the alpine and +8 in the valley bottom. We limited our time spent traveling under cornices and avoided the wind slabs as best we could. We did not observe any signs of shooting cracks or whumpfs. The snow pack is pretty well right side up and set up. The layer of concern in our pit was down ~50cm, last weekends storm interface this layer did not propagate in our ECT test and was resistant when pulled on. Great riding to be had can’t complain for April!
