AST 1 - Lost Boys Pass

We didn’t observe any natural avalanches or surface signs of instability. We dug a profile at tree line (1700m) and observed a crust down 50 cm and the deep persistent layer down 115 in an area with a snow depth of 140cm. We did not have any results on CTs. Seemed like good skiing out there! We were primarily sliding around to practice rescue and observational skills today.
