Silvern Lakes

Bit of a scouting day at silvern today. There are a handful of open creeks on the trail in still but they're passable. Light S-SE winds all day. As expected the meadows/lakes had excellent powder that made sledding a blast. Alpine has been pretty wind hammered all over either being scoured to rocks or pencil hard snow. S aspects had plenty of wind slab that cracked underfoot. Skied some mellow pitches down to passby creek and as expected the snow in sheltered areas skied great.
