Wicked Wind

The day was blustery up in the Bullmoose riding area near Tumbler Ridge. The wind stripped the terrain of snow along exposed ridgelines and deposited it as wind slabs on the lee (downwind) side of terrain features. To avoid the hazard (and wind) we skied and rode lower elevation slopes in sheltered areas where the powder hadn't been blown away.
