The notch

We rode sleds up to the Notch today. Travel was fast and easy with just a bit of light snow (10cm), we made good time and it was awesome to be in the alpine! We probed between 250-300cm at the notch and it was calm, which felt strange for such a normally windy place. We played around in some sheltered areas on the way back and riding condition was good but not great, and you can still feel old track or wind effect hiding below the new snow. Patchy valley fog started breaking down as the day went on, and visibility improved, perhaps it's the calm before the storm...
