Core Lodge after the warmup

Went for a tour south of the Core Lodge to check out the snow after the big warmup. Bottom line - styrofoam in the trees, windblown in the alpine. No fresh snow in the last day. The warmth has made a soft crust in the trees, with some wind effect. At treeline and in the alpine, lots of recent wind has made a firm crust. Saw one big natural slide (photo 5) on a north aspect in the alpine, several hundred meters across.
