We went up Corbin's pass and skied the gladed trees/Avy path skiers left from the weather station at the top.
1700-2000M breakable MF crust approx 1-3cm thick, grabby but manageable. below 1600M crust became thicker and much more challenging to manage. We skied the road down from 1500M to the Illecillewaet brake check
With the previous warming that had occurred, in the trees and directly below trees was ice due to snow melting off as well as a lot of previous pinwheeling that had occurred (See Photo) some up to 50-70 cm in size. We observed no new signs of instability.
Observed new SH growth in open trees at approx 1900M SE aspect
