Did a few laps of Ursus trees. The sun crust below the storm snow could be felt while skiing, but the snow was not reactive to skiier activity. Hand shear tests only produced results on western aspects above tree line on the Ursus Minor SW ridge. I used the middle hospital gulley to get back to the Connaught drainage, and met up with some guys who did the skiers right gulley, they commented about their sluff fully cleaning out the gulley, I didn’t go investigate but possibly a skiier triggered dry loose avalanche? Lots of avalanche activity from overnight, specifically grizzly, frequent flyer, and STS had all slid by 10am(with some evidence of snow having fallen on the debris from the morning’s flurries). In the pictures is an example of the storm snow sitting on top of the suncrust/surface hoar than can slide.
A lot of snow transport. Skin tracks were fully buried in 50-60 minutes.
