Quick Observation
Skinned up the skoki trail and then up to corral chutes/richardson ridge. On ascent below tree line unsupportive crust with ski penetration of 15cm. Low snow and lots of uncovered saplings. Made for hard going through the trees. At treeline sugary faceted snow made for very hard skin track setting as everything slide and collapsed underfoot. Alpine snow improved somewhat heavy. On the ridge/chutes very minimal coverage. Snow depth in places < 75cm. Lots of sharks. Several people out today on the ridge.
