Quick Observation
The firm January 15th melt-freeze crust is prevalent everywhere up at about 1900m. It ranges in thickness from 4cm @ 1500m to 1cm and breakable at 1800m. Previous strong winds have redistributed the 20cm of snow that overly this crust. Sheltered areas skied well but anything exposed was breakable crust skiing and difficult. No evidence of avalanche activity since warm event (which seems to have caused a loose wet cycle). Any wingspan encountered seemed to be well bonded.
