- <p>Nice spring day for a few hours this morning with partly cloudy skies, light winds and mild temperatures. Looking off to the west, some lens clouds were developing over the high terrain as the winds were getting stronger and more clouds moving in. Snow conditions were holding up fairly well above 9,000', but the bottom was starting to drop out of the snow pack in the lower elevations on the exit out. </p> <p> </p> <p>The melt down has begun with the pavement now beginning to advance up the highway. </p>
A decent re-freeze overnight with hard scratchy snow this morning with snow conditions softening around mid-morning. The combination of increasing clouds and winds kept any wet activity to a minimum.
