In between herding sheep and filming a movie today I found time to ski in upper Weber Canyon. I dug in an area of relative shelter, hoping to find something interesting. Eureka! Upon excavation, even prior to inspection, it became apparent that hiding beneath the recently formed crust were faceted grains. Attached is the pit. Propagation! As for the wind slabs, I looked, but didn't really find any. The most snow I was able to get moving cracked as my machine passed over it, on a wind drifted service road.
