Fingers AST course

Skied up the bottom half in the fingers. Travelling here is now doable but calling it enjoyable would be an over exaggeration. The crust makes for difficult skiing and trail breaking, it’s slippery. It snowed all day. There is about 30 cm on top of the crust. No slab cohesion yet but it was warm and settling. Moderate compression test results below (!) the recent crust.

30 cm of fresh snow above the crust in average, assuming about 20 fell during the last 24 hours.

Twice repeated results: CTM (compression test moderate) 12 down 30 below resent crust combo on facets and small fragments of SH needles to size 2.
