Quick test pit on small roll-over East of Brockton Point. Top 5 cm of new storm snow is wet & sits above a small melt-freeze layer. The slab below is well consolidated & responds to small ski cuts on W-SW features. 'Monster Crust' was 25 cm thick at this location. No sign of Dec 9 or Dec 12 Surface Hoar in our test pit.
