Ice - Wully Canyon

We walked up to Wully Canyon looking for some easy leading for my partner. No signs of travel and some post holing to get there. Didn't see any ice on the start as we approached so detoured up the slope to get eyes on the final pitch. It also looked free of ice. The climb is not in. I do not believe it formed at all this year. I was wondering if that could be related to the dry summer and fall we had.
