Sun Pit

Major trails in were compact and tracked out. In the trees and wind sheltered areas had 6" of wet snow, hardly tracked. Peaks were exposed to high winds and where hard packed and wind swept above the pit and on the razor backs. Large cornices hanging above the pit on the western ridges. Relatively fresh avalanche debris on the Smithers side of the razor backs.
