Quick Observation
Lots of wet slide debris on several faces all around Darkside lake, they have been frozen over due to cold temperatures and seems stable. Thin layer of dense powder sitting on the rain crust from last week on the uphill towards Darkside Peak, breaking trail was manageable but not easy. Some facetted snow and very thin slabs at 1900m elevation, but too thin to be a sliding or burying anyone. Decent thin but dense powder conditions skiing down the top half of the slope at 35-40degrees angle but very crusty near the debris field and at lower elevations of the slope.
