Needle ridge laps

Good riding above 1600m. Below that was wet slush with no signs of instability. Higher we did the pit test. Storm slab was reactive all day. Very wet snow on surface, directly above a crust layer. Had about 12-15cm of new fresh snow. Heard a size 2? natural avalanche go off on north face of needle. Could not see where exactly.

Put was dug in needle north bowl in a sparse treeline area at a 35 degree slope. CTH7 93 SP. single column test. Also did extended column test. No failure after 30 taps.
