Avalanche Information

Old (30hrs) natural cycle observed observed on Black Queen. Yesterday ski cutting produced several size 1's off of Black Queen ridge. Storm Slab becoming stubborn and hard to trigger with cooler temps today.

Snowpack

Mod to strong overnight W and SW winds transporting snow into lees and pressing windward surfaces. 30-50cm Stormslab still reactive to skier traffic but becoming harder to trigger. Jan 16 surface hoar down between 100-120 and very large whumfs felt in open BTL areas.
