Smokers Bowl

Amazing skiing on north slopes in the Big White back country. 30cm of fresh low density powder sits on top of 20cm of slightly heavier powder making for face shots and great riding. The surface snow was low enough density, with a supportive mid-pack, making for reasonably comfortable trail breaking. The same 20-30cm of light snow sits on a crust on the more southern aspects we explored which could get interesting as the new snow forms into a slab.

Lots of wind transport observed with moderate snowfall for several hours of the day. In about 2h of skiing during the afternoon accumulation and transport brought ~10cm of snow into our old tracks.
