This avalanche most likely released naturally during the storm. There is little question that it broke into older buried facets. Snow profiles from around the area show the weak layers. There have been reports of collapsing from nearby. I was actually up near this area on the day it released and experienced a collapse. It's remotely possible (pretty unlikely) that I actually triggered this from a distance but I think I was a little too far away for this to be the case. - Kobernik
