We found a stable snowpack and favorable skiing north of the Utah-Idaho border today. We found less near-surface faceting than we had seen elsewhere in the zone. The rime crust was present, but either more weakly formed or starting to decompose. This led to some really nice quality turns.
We did not see any signs of instability and ECT was without propagation.
