It appears that layers of very weak faceted snow are widespread at all elevations and all but southerly facing slopes.

<p>People could trigger avalanches of wind drifted snow in steep upper and mid elevation terrain where drifts formed on sugary snow a few days ago. </p>

Tails washed out into facets under the new snow on turns, made for inaccurate somewhat challenging sugar skiing.  Reminded me of those sweet faceted times in Colorado....
