Cold. Had a hard time staying warm even on the climbs. Traveled mostly on on the north side of Cutler Ridge. 8000 feet to 6700 feet. Skiing was very good with best snow below 7200 feet. No signs of instability aside from continuing small slab development from light to medium winds here and there. Ski penetration 10 inches to a foot in the new snow. Pole probing suggests pretty consolidated snow pack below soft snow near the surface.

Instability Comment

Some light to medium winds above 8000 feet along ridge tops were moving snow around. Near the ridge snow was definitely thicker due to this wind effect. Some slab development possible.
