Took two steps uphill of the skin track and was surprised to catch this avalanche in my lap. The avalanche triggered remotely at the convex rollover of the test slope (approx 38 degrees) from the concavity of the skin track below. It failed at the new/old snow interface, with the full depth of new snow running on the NSF/crust combo beneath.
