Saw a couple of roadside avalanches in Beaver Creek canyon most likely triggered by passing plows.
Snowpack
New snow made for great turning conditions as long as you could float on top. Massive audible collapses with cracking on steeper pockets as well as small point releases (top 6") all over.
The entire snowpack has poor stucture with 10-12" of basal facets capped by an ever growing 2-3' dense slab.
