Quick report
Today we found soft snow in protected areas but noticed ridges and exposed slopes to be a bit more scoured than yesterday. We did not see any new avalanches today or experience whumphing or much cracking. However, the snowpack structure on a north facing feature we dug into held weak, sugary facets underneath a stronger slab. We did not observe any new natural or human-triggered avalanches today. Several rider-triggered avalanches were observed yesterday on North and East facing terrain.

Clear skies and light winds on ridges.
Snowpack
At 10,200ft on a North Aspect we observed HS 130 cm. At this location we found 15 cm of soft surface snow over 45 cm of 1F stiff wind slab. The bottom 70cm of the snowpack was comprised of F- to F4+ faceted snow with a thin 1F crust just above it. Extended column tests produced stubborn propagating results (ECTP 22).
