Vista Buttes

Sun was in and out sitting around 30° with moderate winds and good visibility. Found about 10”-15”of new snow well bonded to the snow below. Up higher I found some wind slabs and cornice build both were reactive to kicking failing on a shallow 2” fresh wind slab and deeper at about 8”-10” (see photos). Great skiing back to the car through the trees.
