Quick report

Our group of three worked our way along the up track to the top of Seattle ridge. The snow was saturated and dense. Near the top of the ridge (~2600ft) we stopped and assessed the snowpack. There was about 25 cm of dense, moist, wind affected snow sitting on a crust on a faceted layer. Did not perform an ECT however a small, 30cm wide block was isolated by hand and propagated with three light pats from the elbow. Did not see any signs of instability otherwise with the exception of roller balls. Top of ridge was socked in. Overcast day, no precip
