Quick report
We toured up into Noisy Basin to ski the new snowfall. We found 2-4" of mostly graupel on top of the melt/freeze surface from prior to the storm. We did not observe any signs of instability but this snow would have most likely sluffed in steep terrain. The day of enjoyable riding conditions was cut short by lightning and thundersnow that had us tucking tail and headed out of the alpine.
