Quick report
Day off windshield and sled tour:
- Had good views of easterly slopes in the Missions and westerly slopes in the Swan.
- Generally underwhelmed with the avalanche activity in the recent snow.
- 2 very large slab avalanches that likely ran in the last two days (E, 8000')
- Widspread wind-affected snow from previous SW winds during storm.
- Minor dry sluffing on very steep and rocky southerly slopes.
- Frequent tree bombs, the snow surface transitioned to moist in the sun but was otherwise dry.
