- <p>We triggered a fairly large wumpf at 7400' in brushy flats near the green gate at the bottom of the Dog Leg... There were numerous visible crowns of natural or remote triggered avalanches from 12-2 at around that elevation on north and west facing slopes.. These soft slab avalanches were around a foot deep and 30' to 50' wide, but the avalanche on the west facing slope above the green gate was a bit larger. </p>

Those strong winds from last week really effected the snow cover at upper elevations, with huge variations in total snow depth and hardness across terrain
