Quick report
A foot of new snow above 2,000ft over a supportable base with some visible wind transport from south winds. Conducted a survey at the weather station where we found 260cm of total snowpack and measured 33" of snow water equivalent (SWE). The ongoing 9 year average is 48" of SWE with the biggest year 98" in 2021 and the lowest 18" in 2018. Temperatures at 2,600ft were above freezing around 37F and the surface snow was warming up in the sun.

Rain in the morning then clearing. High ceiling clouds in the afternoon.
Snowpack
35cm of new snow over a temperature crust and consolidated below. Sun was warming the powder in the afternoon. Skied fine down to 1,800ft where the melt is dripping away in the forest.
