Quick report

In Gully 1 Found 15 cms of dense snow at 2700'

@4000' there were 16 inches of settled storm snow that was dry

@5000' there was 20 inches of settled storm snow that was dry with a couple minor density changes within storm snow

Pit results produced ECTN2 down 10 cms/ ECTN5 down 20 cms/ ECTN16 down 50 cms (new/old) / ECTN28 down 77 cms (3/16 BSH) Highly deformed and mixed with rounded grains indicate a low probability for propagation.

The snowpack showed good strength and structure with instabilities revolving around storm snow that still needs time to bond.

Small skier triggered avalanches (D1) were reported on steeper slopes that drained into Gully 1. These were in the elevation range where storm slabs were still moist-dry.
