- Selkirk Zone near Schweitzer - 6,300 - W/NW aspect

Sunny and clear weather. Very warm. We dug 3 pits - W/NW aspect - 19 degree slope - HS 225 - 140cm - CT - 16, 15 both Q1, 60cm down - pit 3 had multiple collapses in upper snowpack. - ECTP 13 in one pit, ECTN in other 2 Most failures were on the buried surface hoar layer. Seems more stubborn than last week.
