Heavy Snowfall, Wind Loading

A pit was dug on a NE facing slope 25m from the ridgeline. Formal stress test results were inconclusive, but snowpack was 85cm deep with top 30-35cm appearing to be new and right side up. Small layers of faceted snow were found at 35 and 50cm. Snow from ground to 35cm was also soft and sugary.

<p>Observed wind loaded ridgelines just outside of the backcountry gate at Eagle Point. N, NE, E and SE aspects. </p> <p>~20 inches reported over the weekend and high winds. </p>
