Toured up to the shoulder on West Angle. Observed cracking, whoomphing, and instability. On a South facing aspect, a small wind loaded test slope verified instability with cracking and sliding. At 9'500 on a SW facing aspect we dug a quick study pit. A full profile was not completed. Only quick layer hardness and stability tests were performed. Signs of instability were observed on weak layers buried as well as a reactive wind slab.
