A few collapses on flat ground, mainly when riders would congregate. Clear skies; calm wind; slight warming on solar aspects. Temps hovering around freezing or slightly below in the shade. A few point releases on steep, high elevation south facing slopes near cliff bands. Total snow depth varied from 65cm to 110cm @ 9700'. Sudden results on a compression test with easy taps and propagation on an ECT with 18 taps on weak snow in the lower snowpack - northeast aspect @ 9700'
